In addition to the online multiplayer component carried over from its predecessor, A World of Keflings features local multiplayer, allowing two players to work together in the same world to accomplish tasks. The player can gain access to additional content if they also own ilomilo, Cloning Clyde or Raskulls. Each kingdom features its own unique climate, resources, and characters. Throughout the game, the player completes missions and visits three separate kingdoms the Ice Kingdom, the Forest Kingdom, and the Desert Kingdom. The player helps them by harvesting resources and constructing buildings, tasks that can be delegated to the Keflings as well. As in the previous game, the Keflings are tiny people, similar to elves, who need the player's assistance to build-up their kingdoms. The game follows the player's Avatar (or Mii, in the Wii U version ), who is a giant in the world of the Keflings. It was released on December 22, 2010, and is a sequel to the 2008 video game A Kingdom for Keflings. Set in an alternate timeline after World War I, the player controls mech-like vehicles as they try to defend themselves against a race of robotic creatures.A World of Keflings is a city-building video game developed by NinjaBee for the Xbox Live Arcade. Normally priced at $14.99, this 2011 game is a mix of third-person shooter and tower defense genres. The second half of November will see Xbox Live Gold members able to download "Iron Brigade", from developer Double Fine, for free. First released in 2010 and normally priced at $9.99, the game, which lets players build and maintain fantasy towns populated by Keflings, will be free to download from November 1-15. Microsoft's Xbox Wire reveals that the first free game for November will be Ninjabee's 'A World of Keflings'. Today, the company revealed the two titles that will be free for Xbox Live Gold members in November: 'A World of Keflings' and 'Iron Brigade.' A few days ago, Microsoft announced that its Games for Gold program, which offers at least two free downloadable Xbox 360 games a month for paid Xbox Live Gold subscribers, will continue indefinitely.
